Motivational Monday: June 3, 2013

Need a break from the stressors in your life? Try using your imagination. This can be manifested in many different ways. Here are 3 ideas:

  1. Close your eyes and imagine a “safe place”, such as: the beach or countryside. Only invite soothing images into that place.
  2. Draw 1 picture that allows you to release frustration or anxiety. You can even just scribble all over a piece of paper. Rip it up. Then, draw a new picture that represents peace and serenity.
  3. Make up a wacky story with your friend or play Mad Libs! It’s a great distraction.

Pick an idea that works best for you, try them all, or create your own!
