This week’s Motivational Monday theme is “Be true to you”. The following quote is from The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams:
“…Once you are REAL, you can’t be ugly…”
A lot of us have difficulty being ourselves. We compare ourselves to others. We try to fit the mold. We imagine others share our feelings when they really feel the opposite. When we aren’t true to ourselves, we may feel ugly inside and out. It’s time to be REAL. The transition can be a slow, arduous journey but it’s the key to attaining happiness and healthy relationships.
Shine from the inside and do not let anyone else block your light.
