Hi everyone,
This past long weekend (September 19-21), my cousin, Kristen Buckler played a huge role in organizing the 2014 Young Survival Coalition (YSC) Tour de Pink East Coast bike ride. This bike ride helps support young women with breast cancer. My cousin, Mike Buckler, my uncle, Rich Buckler and my dad, Dan Smith all participated in this ride as part of team “Chasing the Cure” in honor of my aunt, Dale Buckler and friend, Jackie Roth-Kern, who are strong, empowered breast cancer survivors. All the riders, especially the participating survivors, beyond inspired me. This week I could not pick one Motivational Monday theme because all of the following came to mind: perseverance, dedication, leadership, community, love, hope and more.
