Hi everyone,
This week’s theme is “be open-minded”.
In the movie, The Imitation Game, Alan Turing, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, states, “Sometimes it’s the very people who no one imagines anything of, who do the things that no one can imagine.”
We all make snap judgments. That doesn’t make us bad people; it just makes us human. Instead of entertaining your judgments or shaming yourself, you can revise your initial thoughts instead. Maybe the person you thought was a slacker, just has a hard time focusing. Maybe the person who comes off as cold, is just nervous to open up to people. It’s important not to underestimate people, only look at the outside or formulate opinions based on one interaction.
