Hi everyone,
Today we took a 90-mile ride along the Clearwater River into a new state and time zone (Mountain Standard Time). We found ourselves in Lo Lo, Montana.
The ride was beautiful until mile 77 when an unexpected rain storm hit me and I got drenched.
I was provided with a plastic garbage bag and plastic gloves. I tooled the last 13 miles as a biking fashion statement.
There were more rules to follow, like packing foul weather gear for both support vans. The west can spring weather on quickly so a double reason to be safe and prepared.
We have a recovery ride tomorrow ( 37 miles ) and a day off on Tuesday in Missoula, Montana. Looking forward to some much needed rest.
First sign I saw in Montana was: “Win a 22 rifle with a free fill up of gas!”
Not in Nj anymore😃
Love,
Dan
