Today was honestly the first day that I doubted I would finish, based on the sheer exertion from yesterday.
At the start, my legs were like jelly. But all of the sudden, I had more energy than perhaps any day prior.
Here’s my baseball analogy, from a previous life: When my warm-up to pitch was awful, the game was great..Go figure!
So another 116 miles in the books and I am in Bozeman, MT (home of the Bobcats of Montana St).
Saw a sign today ( took a picture, enclosed) stating “miles to go to Bozeman and Manhattan” (Wait What??)
Also took a short video of the landscape of Montana, only to discover later the horses were an artist’s landscape, and not real (shocking to most of you about me I know…)
Anyway, big day tomorrow as I break the 1,000 mile mark! We head 111 more miles to Columbus, MT…
Lastly, I want to share one more quote given to me by a dear friend:
“The only adequate planning for tomorrow is the right use of today”
Living in the moment,
Dan
