Made it!
We rode today from Missoula, MT to Helena, MT covering 125 miles (by far the furthest I have ever ridden) and climbed 6,100 feet.
Started at 7 am and, with breaks and lunch, got in at 5:45 pm…long day of riding.
At mile 103, there was a 4.5 climb and it took everything out of me to do. The following saying seems appropriate:
“Pain is temporary but Pride stays with you Forever.”
Only a couple of scenery photos, and another of a saying posted roadside (came at a good time).
Shorter ride tomorrow; only 116 miles to Bozemen 🙂
