Hi All,
Needless to say today I was very tired. So, I strategized and decided to leave at daybreak, hoping to have enough to finish the 108 miles to Gillette, Wyoming. It worked until mile 85, and then a group of riders rode with me to the finish line, offering guidance and encouragement!
My sincere thanks to April, Steve, Marc, David and Lawrence.
Gillette is a large coal mining town and at the end of the ride ( although I was very “tired” ), I posed at a viewing site inside one of the tires used in the coal pit.
Also broke out the Ithaca College riding kit for extra motivation 🙂
Deer season opened yesterday in the state and the hunters did well.
Onto Sundance, Wyoming tomorrow.
Let’s go Mets!
Dan
