Today’s ride, to put it simply, was brutal. We rode 113 miles basically into a head wind.
What kept my sanity was the beautiful sunflower fields that literally stretched for miles. The sunflower also happens to be FTBO’s featured flower, so that helped.
Also helpful were frequent rest stops and, at the end, a deserving ice pop!
Gotta keep reaching deep!
