So I just completed a 96-mile ride from Boscobel, WI to Madison, WI and I’m pumped for a rest day on Sunday.
Today’s ride was utopia: great sunny weather, temperatures in the low 70’s, a beautiful scenic ride into Madison, and my best ride of the trip from an energy standpoint. And life is great!
Since I got in early it gave me time for a recovery drink and burger at The Great Dane (micro brewery) and some Wisconsin Badger Football on the tv vs. Troy.
As I was about to sip my beverage and taste my burger I heard a noise from the patron next to me followed by a bathroom tint (and she was proud of the effort)!
Needless to say I got a nice Wisconsin welcome and she said beer, farts and Badger Football go together :).
Meet my new friends Doug and Deb….just can’t make this stuff up.
Now off to my nap and I’m sure more experiences tomorrow.
