Memories…

So today was my last 100-plus-mile ride for the trip (103 miles), and we were treated to a beautiful fall day with sunny skies and 50 degree weather: perfect for riding.

The route was from Cazenovia to Speculator, NY, and I have experienced every inch before.

I knew the routes, towns, and even found a D Smith Lane.

This included Utica, Vernon Downs, Route 28 which goes to Cooperstown, and Piseco Lake, where we camped as a family 50 years ago.

4 days to go until meeting my bride at the beach!
