Today is for Luke:
I’m dedicating today’s ride to a very special young follower of my journey. His Dad was going to bring him to Ticonderoga, NY today and surprise me after today’s ride, but a certain weather pattern got in the way and the safer route was to stay in Glen Rock, NJ.
Like most little boys would be, he is upset, but what he doesn’t know is just the thought of planning the trip lifted my spirits and got me through our coldest day and strong head winds.
So Luke: save a round of golf for your Uncle Dan for when I get back and I’m so proud of you as a person, student, and athlete! Keep working because if I can do this you can do anything!
