Fairlee, VT:
Today’s ride to VT was a major test with 6,500 feet of climbing. it took me 9 hours to complete 92 miles.
In addition I fell going uphill and bruised some ribs. I’m sore but nothing will stop me from finishing the last 2 rides.
We are staying at Lake Morey Resort (the lake is beautiful, see picture below). A special shout out to my friend, Forrest, who spent a lot of time growing up in this area.
The weather today was a crisp and sunny 50 degrees, and of course another headwind. We have not had a tailwind since South Dakota :(.
I’m smelling the finish line!!
