
Hi everyone,
This week’s Motivational Monday theme is “find a new way”.
“A New Way”
It’s that moment when you look within and around and say,
Enough Already!
I’ve done this X amount of times
And it hasn’t worked
I’ve tried this method time and time again
With no results
What is the next step?
Do I do the opposite?
Do I act as if?
Do I fake it until I make it?
Do I continue to question myself?
Old habits are hard to break.
You choose them because they are safe.
You ease into them without even knowing.
You cling to every last part of them
No matter how detrimental they may be.
Loosen your grasp a bit
Lean into the discomfort
Find another way
Forge a new path
And a new method of coping.
The next step is a small step.
It’s real, honest, and difficult.
But with each step new habits become
A part of who you are.
So brace yourself for the unknown
Change your way of doing, thinking
Perceiving and learning.
Find what works for you.
Because you deserve to breathe in
the beauty of life’s present moment
