Hi everyone,
This week’s Motivational Monday theme is “the process”.
The process…
She has always lived her life with it there.
To varying degrees it decides to show up.
At first she was unaware.
She buried the potential of finding out.
There were big changes.
It arrived in full force.
It controlled her.
She succumbed to it.
She saw no way out.
She agreed to get help.
She smiled through it.
She denied it.
She gave the perfect answer.
She hid quietly in the background.
She left and came back.
She bounced around from place to place.
She got worse.
She trembled, too lost to cry.
She went through the motions just to get by.
She connected with someone.
And then someone else.
And then someone else
And then one person more.
They worked together.
She was no longer alone.
She slowly came alive.
She showed up.
She put herself out there.
She forged ahead.
She still thinks about it often.
Some days it runs her life.
Some days it doesn’t exist.
Yes, there was a relapse.
Yes, there have been many slips.
But more importantly,
She LIVES with it.
She LEARNS with it.
She TEACHES with it.
