Motivational Monday: Look outside of yourself so that you can look within

Hello everyone,

This week’s Motivational Monday theme is “look outside of yourself so that you can look within”.

Here’s an original poem that I wrote…

My truth about clouds

I saw clouds so fluffy that I could fall asleep believing they were my pillow
I saw clouds so thin that I hungered for them to grow
I saw clouds so dark that I shivered with fear as to what they would bring
I saw clouds so colorful that I had to paint them in my mind
I saw no clouds and was enamored by the clean blue slate of sky
I saw clouds that brought rain or snow or rainbows
I saw clouds that resembled people, places or things
I aim to look at the clouds daily
So I can think outside of myself,
Bask in the beauty of nature,
Tell myself that my loved ones are looking at those clouds too
And so I can fall asleep on clouds so fluffy that they just might be my pillow.
