Hello everyone,
This week’s Motivational Monday theme is “the importance of sidekicks”. Over the holiday break, I watched a documentary called, “Life, Animated”. The film is about a young adult with autism, Owen Suskind, and how he communicates using Disney movies. It’s heartwarming, inspiring and funny.
Owen made a sketchbook of different sidekicks from various Disney movies. He states, “I am the protector of the sidekicks. No sidekick left behind”.
Sometimes we focus so much on the heroes, that we forget who is supporting them. It’s important to recognize and advocate for those that lead by example or those who do all of the little things behind the scenes.
