Hi everyone,
This week’s theme is “getting stronger”. This poem is meant to help you (1) identify your strengths, (2) strengthen your weaknesses and (3) recognize that it CAN and DOES get better.
She was strong inside
But yet so weak
She wished she’d dance
She wished she’d speak
He was strong outside
But yet so bare
He felt no rush
He felt no care
They were strong on their left
But not on their right
Feeling unturned
Losing their fight
She was strong on her right
But not on her left
Falling down quick
Laying bereft
He was strong in his eyes
But not in his soul
He could see what was there
But not what it stole
They were strong in their hearts
But not in their shoes
Solid in ones
But never in twos
She CAN find it out there
Or deep in her core
He CAN find some right
Or left even more
They CAN find their up
And their steady ground
What they search for now
CAN in ways be found
